Questions About Ordering

Can canvas prints be framed?
-Yes. If you order your print on stretched canvas you can simply insert the canvas into a ready-made frame of the correct size. If you order your print on rolled canvas, you will most likely want a professional framer to stretch and frame your print.

What does size mean?
-When you select a size, you are selecting the size of the actual image.

Is my print a Giclée print?
-The term Giclée Print was coined in 1991 by printmaker Jack Duganne to signify a superior quality reproduction. Since that time printmaking has far exceeded those limited standards. For all my limited editions I use the term Archival Pigment Print to describe the print quality. This means your print is printed on archival fine art materials using archival inks; expect your archival print to exceed a life of 100 years. I capture and print to the highest quality available. Other current and synonymous terms of Archival Pigment Print are: Museum Quality, Archival Quality, and Archival Print. See Wikipedia.

Should I order my print on canvas or paper?
-All of my limited editions are printed on fine art, archival paper or canvas. I preselect which media I feel works best with the image. If you would prefer one of my limited editions to be printed on a different media, please reach out to me at Photo@ToddSuttles.Com.

What is a stretcher bar when ordering a canvas print?
-The artwork on canvas is stretched onto a wooden frame. This is called a gallery wrap presentation. The price indicated for Archival Fine Art Canvas prints includes the print being wrapped on a 1.5" stretcher bar with a mirrored edge finish. It may be framed, or hung as-is (strung wire hanging system included).

What is a Certificate Of Authenticity?
-All of my photographs come with a Certificate Of Authenticity certifying each as an original photograph printed by me.

Is there a white border around my photograph?
-Yes. All paper prints come with a standard half inch white border around the image to allow for matting.

Do canvas prints have to be framed?
-No. Canvas wrapped prints come ready to hang.
